MPs have cut their Christmas holidays short by more than a week to gather for a crunch vote on Britain's new Brexit deal on December 30.
Yesterday Mr Johnson presented his 'Brexit gift' to Britain in a Christmas video message, as his deal was last night given a double boost with a tentative welcome from Euro-sceptics and a call from Sir Keir Starmer for his Labour MPs to back it.
The PM has lined up a crucial moment next Wednesday when he will try to push the legislation underpinning the historic agreement through all its Parliamentary stages. 
MPs went into recess on December 30 and were not expected back in the Commons until January 7 prior to the deal being struck. 
The UK will leave the customs union and single market on December 31 and transition to the terms agreed in yesterday's Brexit deal if MPs vote for it.

The timing of the deal has forced politicians and officials in the UK and Brussels to tear up Christmas plans.
