Dan Ball is a Director in the Global Connectivity & Access Policy group at Facebook, where he focuses on issues involving accessibility policy and over-the-top (OTT) video and communications services. Prior to joining Facebook Dan was a Deputy Policy Director for the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, where he led the Committee’s Communications, Technology, Innovation, and the Internet Team. Dan previously worked in the Wireline Competition and Wireless Telecommunications Bureaus at the Federal Communications Commission, and in private practice doing both telecommunications law and litigation. Dan has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pomona College, and a juris doctor from Boston College Law School.
